Hand sculpted cast BJD "Radiata"
Pictured dolls are just an EXAMPLE of what the final doll will look like. The final doll will be cast by a casting company who uses different resins and resin dye then I do, that gives the doll a slightly different look. THERE WILL ALSO BE SEAM/CASTING LINES PRESENT IN THE FINAL PRODUCT.
Pre-order opens November 24th at 12pm eastern standard time until December 22nd at 12pm est. There are a limited amount of 40 dolls available for the pre-order. Pre-order will end on December 22nd even if all dolls are not sold or it will end earlier if all the dolls sell before the end. This is Cattleyas one and only preorder, there will never be another pre-order for her again but there is a possibility that there will be ready made casts available at random.
Wigs, outfits, Faceups, and accessories are NOT INCLUDED. This is a Pre-order for a BLANK DOLL.
Color Hot pink will be made as a custom color and is $20 more than the other colors. Due to this the color sample provided is just a rough idea of what it will look like. Mixing the dyes and colors together can be a difficult process and due to this my caster cannot get an exact color but rather as close as they possibly can.
This Doll is Cast in a resin from an original Sculpture in either Light Peach, Milky Tan, Light Blueberry, or Hot Pink color depending on the one you choose.
THIS IS A PRE-ORDER MEANING THE ITEM IS MADE TO ORDER. PROCESSING TIME TAKES ABOUT 3-7 MONTHS DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT ORDERED. PRODUCTION WILL BEGIN AT THE END OF THE PREORDER WHEN MY PROTOTYPE HAS ARRIVED AT THE CASTER SOMETIME AROUND THE BEGINNING/MIDDLE OF JANUARY.
This doll is cast for me by a casting company meaning that there are strong casting seam lines and some rough spots from the casting channel removals as well as sanding marks and marbling from the caster. Marbling is most present on the darker colors like Milky Tan, Light Blueberry, and Hot pink usually located around the seam lines and casting channels.
Measurements:
Head has a circumference of about 7 inches and a 1/2cm
Height is about 38.1cm or 15 inches
Neck has a circumference of about 3 inches
Shoulders have a circumference of about 7 inches
Chest has a circumference of about 6 inches with boobs and 5 inches around ribs
Love handles have a circumference of about 6 inches
Hips/Butt have a circumference of about 8 inches
Thigh has a circumference of about 4 1/2 inches at widest point
Shins have a circumference of about 3 1/2 inches at widest point
Legs have a length of about 8 inches from the top of thigh joint to bottom of feet.
Comes with a random set of handmade eyes
DISCLAMER
This doll is cast in resin, which includes the mixing of color compounds into resins. This being said, slight marbling and some very little bubbles can occur, which are normal and natural to resin casting, however I do try my best to give you the best quality cast. Another thing that occurs with resin casting is the presence of seam lines. Meaning there will be seam lines present with this preorder due to the fact that I am using a caster instead of casting myself.
